Concert Report: 4th Quarter

For my concert report I chose to listen to Brad Paisley's – Time Well Wasted Album and Alan Jackson's – Greatest Hits Volume 2. I really enjoyed both. Some may like to make fun of country music , but I guess my experience in Alabama with no other stations besides country converted me. What I learned is Alan Jackson seems to count on more instrumental backup besides just a guitar while Brad Paisley's music seems to focus more on guitars.

One of the things I really enjoy about Alan Jackson's music is his excellent use of chords in his song. They always seem to match perfectly the words he is singing. One of the songs I enjoyed because it is an example of his ability to do this is the song “Drive (For Daddy Gene)”. The chords seem to match the words. One could argue Paisley as one of the best country guitarists.

I really enjoyed these cd's and learned quite a bit about how really good guitarists play. A few of the songs in the Brad Paisley cd I might be able to play the chords for so that...
